Wonka Series is inspired by the 1971 movie Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory. Each of the 5 children are represented in a colour as well as Wonka himself and the amazing room with the edible garden and chocolate river.
Colourways:
Golden Ticket: Inspired by the moment that Charlie Bucket finds his golden ticket – the colours of his shirt, the brown chocolate and of course the elusive golden ticket.
To the Fudge Room: Inspired by Augustus Gloop’s demise. The chocolate brown of the river, green of his jacket and the lush grass of the room, and then the milky white of the foam as the pressure builds to push him up the pipe and to the fudge room.
Snozzberries: Inspired by the edible wallpaper, and Veruka’s indignation over there being such a thing as a Snozzberry . This variegated yarn has the reddish pink of Veruka’s dress, the purple of the grapes, green of the leaves, pink of the strawberries and orange of the oranges.
You’re turning violet, Violet: Tones of purple, from light lilac through to deep purple make up this rich purple colourway. Inspired by the scene when Violet chews the gum and becomes her namesake.
Millions of Tiny Pieces: Inspired by Mike Teevee and his ambition to travel by Wonka-vision. This variegated yarn starts with the white safety suits with the golden stripes, it is then speckled with purple, pink and turquoise of the millions of tiny pieces.
Pure Imagination: This variegated yarn combines all of the colours from the amazing room in the factory with the edible grass, flowers and fruit and a nod to Wonka as his purple jacket.
These are all repeatable colourways, if you would like full skeins, check the shop for availability or message me to arrange a custom order.
