Brown Streams and Soft Dim Skies – Lattice Sock

Brown Streams & Soft Dim Skies  is a reference to a line in the famous poem “My Country” by Dorothea Mackellar. I grew up learning this poem and love it still today. This line is in the first verse, before she starts to describe Australia. The brown streams and soft dim skies are back in England and a contrast to the vibrancy of Australia. This colour way combines light blue and brown.

This is a repeatable colourway – what does this mean? It can be dyed to order, if not in stock and you can choose to have it dyed on any of my available bases.

About hand dyed yarn: Every skein of hand dyed yarn is unique, even if dyed in the same batch there will still be differences. For large projects, I highly suggest alternating skeins to blend the colours. Please ensure you purchase enough yarn for your project. Not enough currently in stock? Custom dye requests are welcome. Use the contact me page, to submit your custom request or question.

Please Note: Best efforts have been made to capture the true colours of each creation, colours may vary based on your monitor and dye lot.
